In the early morning of the 4th day in Lopera two officers of the Guardia Civil showed up. They were very polite and informed about my plan to stay here. There was no problem and they wished me a nice stay. Just half an hour later one officer of the Policia Local showed up, and exactly the same happened.
Two days later, in the early morning, one more officer of the Policia Local showed up (but without hat). He made clear the townhall had ordered him to inform me I had to leave. I explained I would leave the next day, and that was oké.
One last look at Lopera. My Panasonic FZ1000 camera 🖱️ can do this job easily. No crop, just original zoom. It weighs 1 kilo but brings me tons of pleasure !
And my wonderful OnTheRoad 4.0 🖱️ weighs some 67kgs and (but) also brings me tons of pleasure ! And even more sweat haha.
Once more I had decided to cycle an offroad traject and once more it was beautiful.
This show is to honour The Olivetree, each one of them looks so "senior".
However, but and unfortunately they are planted here in such massive quantities that they ruin this part of the planet.
In 2018 I was on my way near Cabra where I visited an olive-processing-factory 🖱️.
Open this map and Zoom, swipe and wonder to see 100 million olivetrees ! 🖱️ in this relatively small part of Spain. All the small green dots at this map indicate olivetrees, and olivetrees only ... Olivetrees are actually the only things that live here.
It was a beautiful offroadtrip and I made it in time to enjoy the cafe. I was a bit worried about that since this is a day-cafe that closes at 17h00.
I stayed in the cafe until closingtime, had some nice tapas that filled my stomach and then started to look for a campspot. I found one at only about 1km, and this is it, my wildcampspot, close to the cafe, in an oliveyard (ofcourse, there is hardly any other option).
I even had a nice look at Porcuna 🖱️ where I stayed already back in 2018.
I cycled 47kms and 558vms in these 2 days and once more that was rather tough.
And this is the interactive map of this double YesTrip.
Tomorrow I will cycle into the world again.
